We specialize in crafting beautiful custom kitchen vent hoods. Every vent hood is one-of-a kind. Although we have over 100 vent hood shapes to select from, we can work with you to custom build your own design. We would love to talk to you about your vent hood design.
THE ORDERING PROCESS
It is very important to get all the specifications and details worked out up front. We are always just a phone call away. Communication is key in this phase and we’re here to help guide you through this process. Once you decide on hood size, style, metal, finish and motor we will send you a quote for the project. Full payment is required to initiate your project. Upon payment we will get to work on your custom vent hood. During the construction of your vent hood we will keep you in the loop by sending periodic picture updates.
METALS
We only use quality 20 gauge raw metal; we do not use re-purposed nor recycled metals. The metals we most commonly use are copper, stainless steel and zinc. Yet we also work with brass and high polished stainless steel.
FINISHES
We can add decorative trims and rivets to any of the vent hoods. There are multiple options to finish the metals like patina, polished, brushed or enameled. As our final step we wax all vent hoods to protect the color. Due to the nature of metal, the finish can change color over time.
CONSTRUCTION
Unlike many off-the-shelf vent hoods, our vent hoods are four-sided and reinforced for easier installation. All hoods have a mounted motor (different options available) and includes it’s custom stainless steel liner.
TURNAROUND
Our turnaround for vent hood construction is roughly 9-10 weeks (options for 6 week turnaround may be available, please inquire). Freight shipping requires an additional 2-6 business days.
The turnaround for leader heads for gutters is approximately 2-3 weeks plus shipping.
SHIPPING
We ship your new hood via freight. It usually takes between 2 and 6 business days to reach the destination. Shipping cost is always included in the quote you will receive from us. Your hood will arrive crated, meaning it will arrive slightly larger and heavier. Local pick up is available upon completion.
